Industrial activities in which chemical treatment is the primary manufacturing process, and industrial activities that manufacture single chemicals, mixed or complex compounds, and chemical products by mixing and other final treatments of products generated during the chemical treatment process, primarily include the following industrial activities:
Manufacture of basic industrial compounds such as acids, alkalis, salts, and other inorganic or organic compounds
Manufacture of fertilizers and nitrogen compounds
Manufacture of intermediate compounds such as synthetic rubber, plastic materials, and chemical fibers in a raw state requiring further processing
Manufacture of other chemical products processed for direct use for specific purposes, such as insecticides, fungicides, and other agricultural chemicals, paints and inks, soaps, and cosmetics
