What 370 includes

• This group includes the operation of wastewater treatment facilities for purposes such as reuse in agriculture, industry, road cleaning, or artificial groundwater recharge; the collection and transportation of wastewater from users including households and industrial units; the collection and transport of rainwater; the treatment of wastewater; and the maintenance and cleaning of sewers and drains, including sewer rodding.
• This group also includes the freeze drying of sewage sludge by wastewater treatment plants; the emptying and cleaning of cesspools, septic tanks, sinks and pits containing sewage; and as well as the servicing of chemical toilets.

What 370 excludes

• This group excludes the further treatment of sludge extracted from wastewater, such as anaerobic digestion, aerobic treatment like composting, and incineration with or without energy recovery (see class 3830) ; the decontamination of surface water and groundwater at the place of pollution (see class 3900) ; the construction or repair of sewer systems (see class 4220) ; the cleaning and deblocking of drainpipes in buildings (see class 4322) ; and the rental and pumping of portable toilets (see class 7730) .
