What 85.40Y includes

• Higher education, academic, professional and specialized preparing for degrees short cycle (bachelor or equivalent, master or equivalent and doctoral or equivalent level.
• The education of the public and private universities and other higher education institutions, at different levels:
• Studies of short-cycle, usually based on a hands-on learning, adapted to the pursuit of a given profession and preparing students to enter the labour market or to follow other programs of higher education
• Undergraduate studies is open to holders of a certificate of secondary education, and leading to an undergraduate degree
• Graduate studies open to applicants who hold at least an undergraduate degree and leading to a graduate degree
• A master course complete, open to candidates who hold a certificate of secondary education and leading to a postgraduate diploma
• A postgraduate diploma is open to the candidates who have successfully completed at least the first cycle of studies, and leading to a postgraduate diploma
• A postgraduate diploma (postgraduate school), open to candidates who have completed at least the studies of the second cycle, and leading to a postgraduate qualification such education may be provided in the form of full-time study or part-time.
• The programs of vocational education and training short cycle on level 5 of ISCED-P-2011
• The programs of vocational education and training at a level higher than 6 and 7 of ISCED-P-2011 (for example those that lead to qualifications of master craftsman)
• The educational activities of the schools in the performing arts providing a higher education
• Programs of adult education or continuing education in which the content is of a complexity equivalent to the education provided in the framework of educational activities already classified at this level
