What 01.630 includes

• Post-harvest activities, for pay or under a contract:
• Preparation of plants for primary markets, e.g. cleaning, trimming, sorting, disinfection
• Cotton ginning
• Preparation of tobacco leaves, e.g. sun drying
• Preparation of cocoa beans, e.g. shelling
• Fruit waxing
• Drying of fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, medicinal herbs and tobacco
• Sorting, cleaning and cutting medicinal herbs
• Grain drying
• Post-harvest activities to improve seed quality, for example by removing non-seed material, seeds that do not meet size requirements, are mechanically or insect damaged, and undeveloped seeds, as well as reducing the moisture content of the seed to a safe level for storage
• Digestion of plants with vegetable textile fibers (jute, flax, coconut, etc.) not in connection with the cultivation of vegetable textile fibers
• Artificial ripening of fruits as a service, e.g. banana ripening
• Drying, cleaning, sorting and processing of seeds until they are marketed
• Treatment of genetically modified seeds
