What 47.12 includes

• This class includes the retail sale of a large variety of goods (e.g. wearing apparel, furniture, appliances, hardware, cosmetics, jewellery, toys, sports goods) of which food products, beverages or tobacco are not predominant.
• Non-specialised retail sale is allocated to this class only if the products sold comprise five or more classes in any of groups 47.2 to 47.8 and food, beverages, and tobacco do not account for at least 35% of value added (or a substitute thereof).
• NACE class 47.12 is subdivided into six categories; the same threshold of 35% of value added (or a substitute thereof) applies to the classification of units into categories according to the type of products considered.
