What 20.16.Z includes

• This subclass includes the production of resins, plastics, unvulcanized thermoplastic elastomers, mixed and bonded resins in primary forms, as well as the production of synthetic resins.
• Production of plastics in primary forms: • polymers, including polymers of ethylene, propylene, styrene, vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate, and acrylic, • polyamides, • phenolic and epoxy resins and polyurethanes, • alkyd, polyester, and polyether resins, • polymeric ion exchangers,
• Production of silicones in primary forms,
• Activities related to the compounding of plastics,
• Production of chemical derivatives of cellulose,
• Production of plastic powders, granulates, or flakes by mixing or converting resins derived from recovered plastic waste,
• Production of plastics in flakes or granules based on pre-processed plastic waste from material recovery processes.
