What 24.5 includes

• This group includes: - foundry operations using various casting processes to produce castings used in various industries, obtained from all alloys of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, - trimming or descaling of castings, but without further processing.

What 24.5 excludes

• The manufacture of products obtained by manufacturing processes other than castings (for example, forged, pressed, drawn and stamped parts, rolled rings or powder metallurgy products, and the like), classified in the appropriate subclasses of division 25,
• The manufacture of finished products by further processing of castings, for example: • boilers and radiators, classified in 25.21.Z, • cast household goods, anchors, propellers, and bells, classified in 25.99.Z.
