What 28 includes

• This division includes: - the manufacture of machinery and equipment that independently performs mechanical or thermal operations on any material or performs operations such as gripping, spraying, weighing, or packaging, including the manufacture of mechanical components therefor and the manufacture of specialized spare parts, - the manufacture of fixed, mobile, or portable equipment used in industry, construction, civil engineering, agriculture, or households, - the manufacture of specialized equipment for the internal transport of passengers or goods, - the manufacture of other special-purpose machinery and equipment, not elsewhere classified, whether used in production processes or not, for example, equipment used in amusement parks, bowling alleys, and the like.
• This division distinguishes between the manufacture of special-purpose machinery, i.e., machinery for exclusive use in a specific activity, and machinery for general purposes.
