What 86.10.2 includes

• Short- or long-term activities, i.e., medical activities, diagnosis and treatment, in university hospitals.
• These activities are essentially carried out within the context of inpatient treatment of patients under direct medical supervision and include:
• Activities of physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Laboratory and technical services such as radiology and anesthesia services
• Activities of emergency departments
• Activities of operating rooms and hospital pharmacies, food preparation and other hospital services
• Activities of university psychiatric clinics that offer diagnostic and medical treatment

What 86.10.2 excludes

• Laboratory testing and examination of all types of materials and products, except for medical tests and examinations, see 71.20.0
• Veterinary services, see 75.00.1 and 75.00.9
• Medical care of members of the armed forces on deployment, see 84.22.0
• Consultation of inpatients by private practitioners, see group 86.2
