What 87.20.Z includes

• This subclass includes social assistance that provides housing, food, protective supervision, assistance, and some level of medical care to individuals living with or diagnosed with a mental illness, intellectual disability, or addiction, regardless of age, in facilities other than hospitals, such as:
• Facilities for addicts,
• Residential homes for individuals with emotional disorders,
• Facilities for the mentally retarded,
• Mental health centers,
• Care facilities for individuals diagnosed with intellectual disabilities.

• Psychiatric hospitals, see 86.10.Z,
• Residential social work and rehabilitation for persons other than those with mental disorders or addictions, see 87.10.Z, 87.30.Z,
• Other residential social work (performed, for example, in temporary shelters for the homeless), see 87.99.Z,
