What 87.30.Z includes

• This subclass includes social work that provides 24-hour care, including accommodation, meals, protective supervision, and assistance with daily living (e.g., household chores), provided to elderly people or people with mobility disabilities who have limited self-care capacity. This subclass is provided in:
• Retirement homes,
• Social care homes with minimal nursing care,
• Retirement homes without nursing care. Nursing care may be provided to residents in separate facilities.

What 87.30.Z excludes

• Residential social work that provides nursing care for the elderly, classified in 87.10.Z,
• Residential social work for people with mental disorders or addictions, classified in 87.20.Z,
• Residential social work in which medical care, education, and rehabilitation activities play a marginal role, classified in 87.99.Z.
