What 87.30.1 includes

• This subcategory encompasses the accommodation and care in residential facilities for senior citizens who are unable to care for themselves and/or who do not wish to live alone. This typically includes accommodation, meals, supervision, and support with daily living activities (e.g., household management). Occasionally, these facilities also include separate nursing units for residents.
• Nursing homes with no or minimal nursing care services, where senior citizens who are no longer able to manage their own household upon admission, but do not require nursing care, receive full care and support;
• Assisted living centers with self-contained apartments, designed and equipped to meet the specific needs of senior citizens and enable them to live independently for as long as possible.
