What 88.10.Z includes

• This subclass includes the activities of counseling centers, shelters, and other non-residential social assistance services provided to the elderly and disabled, carried out by public administration institutions, national or local organizations, and by specialists providing advice, including:
• Visiting the elderly and sick,
• Day care and assistance for the elderly or disabled adults,
• Activities related to the vocational adaptation of mentally or physically disabled persons; in this type of activity, the educational component should be limited,
• Activities of home caregivers,
• Home care,
• Home care services, such as housework, provided to persons diagnosed with a temporary health impairment.

What 88.10.Z excludes

• Activities related to compulsory social security, see 84.30.Z,
• Social assistance with accommodation for the elderly or persons with mobility disabilities, see 87.30.Z,
• Day care for disabled children, see 88.91.Z.
