What 88.99.Z includes

• This subclass includes the activities of counseling centers, shelters, special assistance, and other non-residential social assistance provided to individuals and families in or outside their homes, carried out by public administration institutions, organizations providing assistance to victims of natural disasters, national or local organizations, including private organizations, and by specialists providing advice. This activity is carried out, among others, through:
• Social assistance and counseling for children and youth,
• Adoption-related services,
• Preventive activities against child abuse and other similar activities,
• Consultations and advice related to household budgeting, the operation of marriage and family counseling centers, advice on taking out loans and debt repayment,
• Local and neighborhood social activities,
• Activities involving providing assistance to victims of natural disasters,
• Catastrophes, refugees, immigrants, and the like,
• Activities related to the vocational adaptation of unemployed persons, although the educational component in such activities should be limited,
• Activities involving determining whether applicants meet the requirements for financial or material assistance,
• Day centers for the homeless and other persons in need of assistance,
• Activities involving fundraising or other forms of financial support within the framework of social assistance,
• Cultural and intercultural mediation activities aimed at providing assistance to adults experiencing Difficulties in social and labor market integration, eliminating the social marginalization of children and youth, restoring the normal functioning of adults and minors in prisons, on parole and outside prisons, and reintegrating excluded adults into active life,
• Resettlement activities for refugees.
