Description
It refers to industrial activities that produce basic chemical substances and their derivatives widely used in the manufacture of biochemical products by using starchy grains such as corn, non-grain materials such as lignocellulosic materials, and biomass such as microalgae as raw materials, or by using enzymes and microorganisms.
