Description
1. Overview This refers to industrial activities involving the resale of purchased new or used goods to retailers, industrial and commercial users, organizations, institutions, professional users, or other wholesalers without modification. It also includes activities that mediate or act as an agent for the buying and selling of goods on behalf of individuals or businesses. In connection with wholesale activities, incidental services such as the physical assembly, classification, sorting, division, repackaging, labeling, storage, refrigeration, delivery, and installation may be provided.
2. Forms A. Wholesale Business Types of wholesale business include wholesalers who hold ownership of the goods sold and sell them to retailers, industrial suppliers who provide goods to industrial companies, organizations, institutions, and professional users, as well as exporters, importers, and scrap collectors. Wholesale businesses or wholesale branches operated separately by mining and manufacturing companies are also included. B. Commodity Brokerage Business Types of commodity brokerage business include commodity brokers who do not hold ownership of the goods but broker them on behalf of or for others based on commissions or contracts, consignees and agents, agents purchasing and agents collecting, trade brokers, and agricultural product joint sales cooperatives.
