What 18.13Y includes

• The composition, the layout and typesetting, data entry in a form that is usable in a variety of printing processes and in the representation in other visual media, including scanning and optical character recognition, the implementation in electronic form
• The preparation of data files for multimedia applications (printing on paper, CD-ROM, internet) services, photogravure, including typesetting and the realization plates (for the printing processes letterpress and offset)
• The preparation of cylinders: Etching of cylinders for the reproduction of prints
• Plate processing: Transfer CTP (computer-to-plate") of the computer-to-plate, also on plates in photopolymers
• Preparation of plates and dies for stamping or embossed print
• The preparation of: • art work of a technical nature (for example the preparation of lithographic stones and blocks of wood) • presentation materials • drawings, models, mock-ups, etc • production tests
