What 86 includes

• This division includes the activities of health care short-term or long-term. It covers the general or specialized care, medical or surgical, offered by hospitals, préventoriums, the nursing homes, psychiatric hospitals, rehabilitation centres, and the other institutions of human health, which have accommodation facilities and which provide diagnostics and treatment, mainly in patients hospitalized with a wide range of pathologies.
• This division also includes medical consultation and care provided by the general practitioners, specialists, and surgeons. It includes the activities of care dental general or specialized, as well as the activities of orthodontics.
• In addition, this division includes the activities of medical, curative, rehabilitation, or prevention performed by paramedical practitioners and health professionals other than hospitals or physicians in practice.
• This division also includes other activities related to human health (for example, activities of medical laboratories, blood banks, sperm banks, banks organs, etc., including the collection, processing, storage and shipping).
