What 64.212 includes

• Activities of non-financial holding companies, i.e. entities that manage the assets (own controlling equity) of one or more non-financial subsidiaries and whose sole function is to own subsidiaries. Holding companies in this sub-group do not provide any other service to the companies they own, i.e. they do not manage or operate other entities.
• Ownership of a controlling share of the share capital in non-financial subsidiaries, i.e. this code refers to holding companies/parent companies that do not work with planning and decision-making regarding the subsidiaries' operations
• Ownership of a controlling share of the share capital in non-financial subsidiaries, i.e. this code refers to holding companies/parent companies that do not conduct their own business nor provide services to the subsidiaries

What 64.212 excludes

• Activities in companies that are partners in other companies without having controlling interests in them, see 64.320
