What 24.20.1 includes

• The manufacture of seamless tubes with circular or noncircular crosssections, and of tube blooms with circular crosssections, for further processing by hot rolling, hot extrusion, or other hot processing of an intermediate product, which may be a bar or billet produced by hot rolling or continuous casting;
• The manufacture of seamless tubes from hotrolled or hotextruded tube blooms by further processing, by cold drawing or cold rolling of tubes with circular crosssections, and by cold drawing only for tubes with noncircular crosssections and hollow sections;
• The manufacture of welded tubes with an outside diameter of more than 406.4 mm, coldformed from hotrolled flat products and longitudinally or spirally welded;
• The manufacture of welded tubes with an outside diameter of 406.4 mm or less with a circular crosssection by continuous cold or hot forming of hot or coldrolled flat products. Longitudinally welded or spirally welded, as well as with a noncircular crosssection, produced by hot or cold forming from longitudinally welded hot or coldrolled strips
