What 24.200 includes

• Manufacture of seamless tubes with round or non-round cross-sections and blanks with circular cross-sections, for further processing by hot rolling, hot pressing or other hot processes from an intermediate product which may be a bar or a bar blank produced by hot rolling or continuous casting
• Manufacture of seamless precision tubes and others from hot-rolled or hot-extruded blanks by further processing by cold drawing or cold rolling for tubes with a round cross-section and by cold rolling only for tubes with a non-round cross-section and hollow profiles
• Manufacture of welded tubes with an external diameter exceeding 406.4 mm, cold-formed from hot-rolled flat products and welded longitudinally or spirally
• Manufacture of welded tubes with an external diameter of 406.4 mm or less with a circular cross-section by cold or hot forming of cold or hot rolled flat products and welded longitudinally or spirally and with a non-circular cross-section by cold or hot forming of hot or cold pressed products welded longitudinally
