What 24.20.Z includes

• Manufacture of seamless tubes and pipes of circular or non-circular cross-section, obtained from semi-finished products of circular cross-section, for further processing by hot rolling, hot extrusion, or other hot processing processes, or from a semi-finished product, which may be a bar or billet, obtained by hot rolling or continuous casting,
• Manufacture of seamless tubes and pipes, precision and non-precision, obtained from hot-rolled or hot-extruded semi-finished products, further processed by cold drawing or by cold rolling of tubes and pipes of circular cross-section, as well as by cold drawing only of tubes and pipes of non-circular cross-section and hollow sections,
• Manufacture of welded tubes and pipes with an outside diameter exceeding 406.4 mm, cold-formed from hot-rolled flat products and longitudinally welded or spirally, including hollow sections,
• Production of welded tubes and pipes with an outside diameter of 406.4 mm or less, of circular cross-section, by continuous cold or hot forming of cold
• Or hot-rolled sheets and flat products, cold
• Or hot-rolled products, longitudinally or spirally welded, as well as of non-circular cross-section by cold or hot-forming to shape from cold
• Or hot-rolled longitudinally welded strip, including hollow sections,
• Production of welded precision tubes and pipes with an outside diameter of 406.4 mm or less, by cold or hot-forming of cold
• Or hot-rolled strip and longitudinally welded, and also delivered as welded or further processed by cold drawing, cold rolling, or forming to shape tubes and pipes with non-circular cross-section,
• Production of flat flanges and flanges with forged rings by machining hot-rolled flat steel products,
• Manufacture of butt-welded fittings (e.g., elbows and reducers) by forging hot-rolled seamless steel tubes,
• Manufacture of threaded elements and other steel pipe fittings.
