What 08 includes

• This division includes the extraction in the quarry, but also dredging of alluvial deposits, the grinding of rocks or the exploitation of salt marshes. The products are mainly used in the construction (for example sand, stones), manufacture of materials (e.g. clay, gypsum, calcium), the manufacture of chemical products, etc

What 08 excludes

• This division does not include the processing of mineral products extracted (except crushing, the grinding, the size, the cleaning, drying, sorting and mixing), see section C.
