What 13.10.Z includes

• This subclass includes the preparation and spinning of textile fibers from various raw materials, both new and recycled (e.g., silk, cotton, wool, plant, chemical, cellulosic (wood or straw) fibers):
• Preparation of textile fibers: • unwinding, rinsing, and twisting of silk, • scouring of wool, i.e., degreasing, carbonizing, and dyeing of wool fleece, • carding and combing of all types of animal, vegetable, and chemical fibers,
• Production of yarn or thread for knitting or weaving, intended for trade or further processing: • scutching of flax, • texturizing, twisting, braiding, spinning, air-locking, bundling, and threading of synthetic or artificial fiber yarns,
• Production of yarn from recycled raw materials,
• Production of paper yarn,
• Production of glass fiber yarn.

What 13.10.Z excludes

• Activities related to the preparation of fibers, performed as part of an agricultural activity, classified in the appropriate subclasses of division 01,
• Retting of fiber plants (jute, flax, coconut, and the like), not related to their cultivation, classified in 01.63.Z,
• Cotton ginning, classified in 01.63.Z,
• Production of synthetic or artificial fibers and tow, and production of single yarns (including high-tenacity yarns and carpet yarns) from synthetic or artificial fibers, classified in 20.60.Z,
• Production of glass fibers, classified in 23.14.Z,
• Processing of textile waste into secondary raw materials, classified in 38.21.Z.
