What 55.40.Z includes

• Brokerage of all types of accommodation, which involves bringing together buyers and sellers for a fee or commission. Brokerage may be performed electronically (via the Internet, digital platforms, email) or otherwise (through direct contact, door-to-door, telephone, postal, etc.). The fee or commission may be paid by the client or the accommodation provider. Brokerage income may include other sources of revenue (for example, advertising revenue),
• Timeshare reservation services,
• Accommodation reservation services.

What 55.40.Z excludes

• Entities providing reservation services with additional travel advice or expertise, see 79.11.Z,
• Activities of travel agents, intermediaries, and tour operators providing combined accommodation, travel, and catering services, see 79.11.Z and 79.12.Z.
