What 59.20.Z includes

• Production of original sound master recordings, including digital recordings available online or in any paper format,
• Sound recording service activities, including the production of recorded (i.e., non-live) radio programs, audio podcasts, as well as audio for films, television, books, and the like,
• Music publishing activities, which include: • acquiring and registering copyrights to musical compositions, • promoting, authorizing, and using these compositions in radio, television, film recordings, live performances, print media, and other media, • distributing sound recordings via streaming and download by their publishers,
• Publishing, promoting, and distributing sound recordings for wholesale, retail, or direct sale to consumers, which may include the production of master recordings or obtaining reproduction and distribution rights for master recordings,
• Converting sound recordings to audio streaming formats,
• Publishing music books and Sheet music.
