What J includes

  • This section covers the production, publishing, broadcasting, and other forms of distribution of information products.
  • This section includes: - publishing of books, newspapers, periodicals, and software (relevant subclasses of Division 58), - activities related to the production of films, videos, and television programs, publishing of sound recordings and music (relevant subclasses of Division 59), - activities related to radio and television broadcasting, as well as the production and distribution of television or radio programs, including the operation of platforms for streaming (streaming), downloading, and distributing (sharing) content unrelated to content publishing, blogging and wiki services, social networking services, and activities related to online gaming/computer games services (relevant subclasses of Division 60), - telecommunications (relevant subclasses of Division 61), - information technology activities (relevant subclasses of Division 62), - other information service activities (relevant subclasses of Division 63), - creation and leasing of copyright in published content.
  • Publishing refers to acquiring copyright in the content of publications (information products) and making this content available to the public by engaging in (or arranging) its publication and distribution in various forms.
  • Publishers may publish and then license the distribution of content to others, or they may publish and distribute content they themselves create or own. This section encompasses all possible forms of publishing (print, electronic, digital, analog, or any other form) and activities related to self-publishing. Activities related to the production of individual components (e.g., films, television series) fall within the appropriate subclasses of Division 59. Creating an entire program for a television channel from components produced in Division 59 or other components (e.g., live news programs) falls within the appropriate subclasses of Division 60. Division 60 also covers the broadcasting of programs by their producers. The broadcasting of a complete television program by third parties, that is, without altering the programs, falls within the appropriate subclasses of Division 61. The transmission of programs may take place via satellite or cable networks and falls within the appropriate subclasses of Division 61.

  • Copyright management, classified in 74.91.Z,
  • Record rental, classified in 77.22.Z,
  • Activities of independent musicians and actors (including influencers appearing in vlogs), writers, and bloggers who are not publishers of their own content and gambling websites, classified in the appropriate subclasses of section S.
