What 68.20.Z includes

• Rental and management of owned or leased real estate: • residential buildings and premises, • non-residential buildings, including office buildings, industrial buildings, warehouses (including self-service warehouses), hotels and other recreational facilities, exhibition facilities, retail buildings, shopping malls, and data centers, • land, including agricultural and forest land,
• Rental of houses, flats, and apartments (including furnished ones), for long-term use, i.e., on an annual or longer basis,
• Rental of space for mobile homes serving as primary residences,
• Implementation of construction projects for own purposes, for example, rental of space in buildings,
• Rental of rooftop space (for example, for solar installations),
• Rental of industrial plants and factories, including machinery and equipment,
• Rental of space in shelters exclusively for farm animals.

What 68.20.Z excludes

• The operation of hotels (including apartment hotels), summer homes, rental of guest rooms, campsites, caravan parks, other short-stay accommodation facilities and places (including student dormitories and other student accommodation) for periods of less than one year, classified in the appropriate subclasses of division 55,
• The construction of residential or non-residential buildings for subsequent sale, classified in 68.12.A and 68.12.B,
• Real estate management (for example, management of buildings or apartments in shared ownership), classified in 68.32.B,
• Machinery and equipment rental, classified in the appropriate subclasses of group 77.3,
• Social welfare services with accommodation for the elderly and disabled providing 24-hour supervision and care, classified in 87.30.Z.
