What 64.19.5 includes

• Activities of credit institutions to which special tasks, mainly the execution of public lending activities, have been assigned (e.g., the Reconstruction Loan Corporation, the Berlin Investment Bank, or the Agricultural Pension Bank), sometimes with the right to issue bonds.

What 64.19.5 excludes

• Lending by specialist credit institutions that do not accept deposits (e.g., for the purchase of residential property), see 64.92.3
