What 64.92.3 includes

• Credit guarantee associations: Joint institutions of banks and trade, commercial, or similar organizations; they provide default guarantees for longer-term loans to businesses that are directly or indirectly affiliated with them. Equity guarantee associations also fall into this category.
• Cash registers: Institutions that provide collective custody of securities and conduct securities clearing transactions for their affiliated credit institutions and their customers.
• Special purpose vehicles for securitization.
• Other provision of financial services primarily related to the granting of credit by institutions that are not central banks or credit institutions, whereby the credit can take a variety of forms (e.g., loans, mortgages, credit cards, etc.): • Granting of consumer credit • Foreign trade financing • Provision of long-term financing for businesses by consumer credit banks • Lending outside the banking system • Granting of housing loans by specialized credit institutions that do not accept deposits This subclass does not include:
