Description
1. Overview This major category includes regular educational institutions at the elementary (including preschool-age early childhood education institutions), secondary, and higher education levels, special schools, international schools, alternative schools, general tutoring academies, other educational institutions such as sports and recreation, staff training institutions, vocational and technical training academies, adult education institutions, and other educational institutions, as well as educational support service industries. Educational activities defined in the educational service industry refer to bringing about learning through organized and continuous communication as prescribed by the ISCED (International Standard Classification of Education). The organization characterizing educational activities refers to planning educational goals in a specific manner or program (such as educational courses that recruit students by being structured with specific learning objectives, duration, and tuition fees), and communication refers to the act of transmitting various types of information (messages, thoughts, knowledge, strategies, etc.) in a relationship between two or more people. Information transmission can be carried out through various channels or media, such as oral, non-verbal, direct/interview, indirect/remote, etc. (e.g., Q&A between instructors and students regarding lecture content, evaluation, grade management, etc.).
