What 38.212 excludes

• Production of new end products from recycled raw materials (whether or not self-produced), e.g. spinning yarn from torn rags, manufacturing pulp from recycled paper, retreading tires or manufacturing metal from scrap metal, see the corresponding subgroups in section C
• Remelting of scrap and waste of iron, see 24.10
