What 38.32.Z includes

• Disposal (including pre-disposal treatment) and storage of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, solid or non-solid, on or below ground, in landfills or dumps,
• Processing of organic waste for disposal,
• Disposal of animal by-products in landfills,
• Permanent underground storage of waste in a deep geological cavity (for example, in a salt or potash mine),
• Storage of captured carbon dioxide.

What 38.32.Z excludes

• Collection of waste, classified in the appropriate subclasses of group 38.1,
• Sorting and separation of recyclable materials, classified in 38.21.Z,
• Decontamination, cleaning of soil, water, and disposal of toxic materials, classified in 39.00.Z.
