What 38.23.Z includes

• Preparation of sewage sludge for land treatment to benefit agriculture or the environment,
• Preparation of non-hazardous waste for reclamation of areas where earthworks have been carried out or for engineering purposes for landscaping.

What 38.23.Z excludes

• Production of biogas from sewage sludge, see 35.21.Z,
• Backfilling of excavations without preparatory operations (for example, preparation of non-hazardous waste for engineering purposes for landscaping), see the appropriate subclasses of division 42.
