What 03.1 includes

• This group includes fishing and activities aimed at collecting live aquatic organisms, predominantly fish, crustaceans, and mollusks, including plants from oceanic, coastal, or inland waters, for human consumption or other purposes, by individual means or using nets, lines, and traps. Such activities may be conducted on beaches (collection of mollusks, mussels, and oysters), in coastal regions, or in the open sea. The aquatic resources captured by fishing are normally public property, unlike aquaculture (group 03.2), where the cultivated aquatic resources are privately owned.
• Fishing also includes activities related to the prevention and replenishment of fish stocks.
